Abstract:

AIGC techniques have attracted lots of attention recently. They have demonstrated strong capabilities in the areas of image editing, image generation and so on. We find that generating new contents while strictly keeping the identity of use-specified object unchanged is of great demand, yet challenging. To this end, we propose ReplaceAnything framework. It can be used in many scenes, such as human replacement, clothing replacement, background replacement, and so on. We provide some applications as bellow:

Clothing replacement (masked region is strictly retained):

replace anything sample, clothing replacement

Background replacement for ID photo and family photo (masked region is strictly retained):

replace anything sample, background replacement

Human replacement (masked region is strictly retained):

replace anything sample, human replacement

Background replacement (masked region is strictly retained):

replace anything sample, human replacement

Common Questions:

7. What does clothing replacement refer to in the context of the ReplaceAnything framework?

Clothing replacement in the context of the ReplaceAnything framework refers to changing the clothing of the subjects in the images while maintaining their identity. It's another application of the framework.

8. How does the ReplaceAnything framework handle background replacement?

The ReplaceAnything framework can generate new images with the background replaced while keeping the identity of the foreground objects or subjects unchanged. This is a part of its capabilities in content generation.

9. Why is the ability to maintain the identity of user-specified objects important?

Maintaining the identity of user-specified objects is important because it allows for accurate and realistic content generation. It ensures that the generated content aligns with the user's specifications and expectations.

10. How has the popularity of OffendingAIGC techniques influenced the development of the ReplaceAnything framework?

The popularity and capabilities of OffendingAIGC techniques have significantly influenced the development of the ReplaceAnything framework. The strong capabilities of these techniques in image editing and generation provided a solid foundation for the creation of a framework that can generate new content while maintaining the identity of user-specified objects.
